Creating a Variations Profile

  1. Navigate to the Profiles Section

    • Go to the Profiles section (second icon on the left-hand sidebar).

  2. Select Profile Type and Create a Profile

    • Click “Variations” under Profile Type.

    • Click “Create Profile” (top right-hand corner).

  3. Enter Profile Details

    • Enter a name for the profile in the Profile Name field.

    • Add all variations/options you’d like to include in the profile.

    • Optionally, include relevant prices, quantities, and SKUs.

    • Note: For Etsy, you must select category(s) first, as these impact the available variations/options.

  4. Click “Save" to save the profile.

Applying a Variations Profile to Listings

  1. Navigate to Profiles

    • Click on the “Profiles” section (second icon on the left-hand sidebar).

  2. Select Listings to Connect

    • Manually check the listings you want to apply the profile to, or click “Select All” to apply the profile to all listings.

  3. Apply the Profile

    • Click “Connect Listings.” All selected listings will be automatically updated with the profile settings.

FAQs

Q: If I apply a Variations Profile, will it replace my existing variations?

A: Yes. Applying a profile will replace any existing variations/options in the connected listings with those in the profile.

Q: Is it possible to edit a listing once it’s connected to a Variations Profile?

A: Yes. Even if a listing is connected to a profile, you can still update its variations/options individually within the “Variations” section. For example, if you have 500 listings with the same variations but need to add an extra option to 10 of them, you can apply the profile to all and manually update those 10.
