Managing your billing and subscription payments in Vela is easy. You can view your subscription details, manage connected shops, update plans, and access invoices—all from the Billing tab in your account settings. This guide will walk you through the key aspects of billing and payments.

Accessing Your Billing Information

  1. Log into Vela.

  2. Click Account Settings in the lower-left corner.

  3. Navigate to the Billing tab to see:

    • The number of connected shops (including trial and active subscriptions).

    • Your current subscription status for each shop.

    • Your monthly spend and due date.

    • A detailed breakdown of each shop’s listing count and fees.

Managing Subscriptions

Upgrading or Subscribing a Shop

  • If your shop's trial has ended, click Upgrade next to the shop in the Billing tab.

  • You will see your shop’s placement within Vela’s pricing tiers, based on listing count.

  • Click Upgrade to confirm the subscription.

  • Your subscription will be activated immediately and reflected in your dashboard.

Unsubscribing a Shop

  • To unsubscribe, click Manage next to a shop.

  • Click Unsubscribe (instead of deleting the shop) to stop billing while keeping the shop available for future use.

  • You can resubscribe at any time.

Billing for Etsy and Shopify Shops

  • Etsy Shops: The subscription process happens entirely within Vela.

  • Shopify Shops: Upgrading will prompt you to authorize Vela through Shopify and approve a recurring charge.

  • After authorizing, your subscription status will update automatically in your dashboard.

Viewing Past Payments and Invoices

  • At the bottom of the Billing tab, you can view past billing history for each shop.

  • Click on an invoice to download it for your records.

  • If your listing count changes within a billing cycle, the updated pricing will apply to your next billing period.

Q: Can I change my plan at any time?

A: Yes! You can upgrade, downgrade, or unsubscribe at any time.

Q: How do I get a copy of my invoices?

A: Invoices are available in the Billing tab under billing history.

Q: What happens if I unsubscribe?

A: Your shop will remain connected, but you will lose access to premium features until you resubscribe.

Q: Does Vela charge additional fees?

A: No, Vela does not take transaction fees—your subscription fee covers all features.
