You can connect a new or additional shop to your Vela account at any time. This guide walks you through the steps to connect your first shop or add more shops to an existing account.
Creating a new Vela account:
Go to the Vela website.
Click “Create New Account” in the top-right corner.
Choose either:
Sign in to an existing account, OR
Create a new account by entering:
Your name
Your email (does not need to match your Etsy or Shopify email)
A password for your Vela account
Click “Create Account” to complete registration.
Connecting your first shop:
After creating an account, you’ll see options to connect your shops.
Click the shop platform to begin the connection process.
Enter your login information (email and password for the shop platform you’re connecting)
Review the site’s privacy and data policy, which explains the required permissions for Vela.
Click “Agree” to grant Vela access to import your shop’s information.
Connecting additional shops:
You can connect multiple shops to a single Vela account, one at a time.
To add more shops, click the store-selector dropdown (top left) and select “Add Shop”.
Select which platform you would like to add. At this time, we offer Etsy and Shopify, with more platforms in the worked.
Follow the same steps as connecting your first shop.
